There are three fees, and no others. A one-time framework access fee of ₹3,999, the same for every sector. A one-time application fee, paid when you apply. And an annual fee that maintains your recognition, paid on award and on each renewal.

Every figure is on this page before you begin — and none of them buys the Star.

Notes:

  • The framework access fee (₹3,999, one-time, every sector) opens the complete framework, the One-Page Library and the sector guidance notes. It is separate from the application fee, and paying it does not oblige you to apply.
  • The application fee is payable once, when you submit your application. It is not refundable if the Star is not awarded — it covers the review, not the outcome.
  • The annual fee is payable on award of the Star and on each renewal. It maintains your recognition, your listing on the public register and your badge kit for the year.
  • If the Star is not awarded, you may request a fresh review after ninety days at the application fee alone. Nothing further is charged for the guidance in between.
  • Reviewer travel and accommodation for the review visit are charged at actuals, at cost, with receipts. There is no mark-up.
  • All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes (GST).
  • Organisations outside India: a USD schedule is available on request from the Secretariat.
